A photo from today’s trek to Takamaka canyon taken from a platform at 800 m above sea level.
Takamaka is a typical mountain’s landscape from Reunion located in the east part of the island.
Takamaka is very green site with a lot of waterfalls because the area receive more than 6 meters of water per year !

Bonjour Albert.
Ces montagnes sont tres belles a voir et beaucoup plus vertes que celles que l'on a ici. Le probleme avec des montagnes si adruptes c'est de faire de bonnes compositions. Je rencontre le meme probleme ici avec des barranco profonds flanque de pic a 1000m.
Paysage grandiose et belle cascade. bonnes couleurs et exposition.

Albert, I was browsing through your modest but extremely high quality portfolio when curiosity impelled me to look at this landscape picture with such soothing green colours.
And it is a wonder on the earth alright. I love those long waterfalls segmenting the green cliffs. The depth of view is fascinating in this picture.
Thanks for sharing this picture of a place I can see only in my dreams.
