Hi all!

Where else than during a hike through our nature can we realize how close death and life are! What surprises me often is the fact that death out in nature most of the time is beautiful: trunks, faded flowers or dead leaves try to surpass each other with their beauty, as if they would call us, catch our attention for a last view and glance...

Kind regards

Markus

Picture taken at the foot of Mont Ste. Victoire. RAW, level corrections (attenuation of the bright tones), sharpness, tiny accentuation of the saturation.

Hi Markus. I look for snow type pictures from you but now spring is with you too. You always seem to see a shot from next to nothing . fine detail in the old log and dry bracken . but with the yellow in the back ground. well done TFs.

Hello Markus!
Great abstract image of this "life and death" scene.
I agree with you completely... not so with animals but dead plants are usually just as stunning as when they were living! Something that fascinates me the most is a dried-out leaf with just the net of veins left.
Great light, colours and exposure.
Excellent sharpness.
Well done Markus!

Joe

I think we see the same things Markus...seriously...many of your images are of patterns. and this one is a larger view of the world through those same eyes...It would look somewhat fall if it were not for the yellow..and of course the date..very nice...a still shot..what is it they call it in paintings? Something like that...Yet still very nice!

Bob

Hi MArkus

A lovely shot - the juxtaposition of the different textures and colour works very well.

Lieber Markus,
Anne

Hello Markus,

Very nice diagonal composition. I like very much the light and the warm colours.
Cheers,
Mariki

Touch and it turns to gold, Markus, shoot, and it will be beautiful...That's something very few people can do, which you have as a default.
An amazing shot with beautiful warm colours..
Cheers!

Hi Markus!

Wonderful shine on the living side and in contrast paleness on the dead side. Details are amazing in both. It has a special mood I've seen neither from you or anyone else yet.

Sorry for being so short, for a few weeks it will remain because of work. TFS!

Best regards,
Andor

Hello Markus,
Splendid, splendid composition with beauty all around. Life springs from death in the wilderness. thanks for sharing Markus.

Your image offers some food for thought, Markus.
Yes, the cycle of life goes on. If something dies, it is re-born too, isn't it?
The dead tree is very well captured in this shot. It is so degenerated it looks almost hollow. The new green trees beyond it are its re-incarnation.
TFS and best regards.
Ram

Hi Markus,
excellent concept of showing natural death and life together, technically the POV and colors are good.

Hello Markus, another graceful, not so abstract as usual, but beautiful and complete. Merci!

Well focused with sharp detail.
The POV and DOF are very good.
