Die Fleischrote Rosskastanie oder Rotblühende Rosskastanie (Aesculus × carnea, Syn.: Aesculus rubicunda) ist ein in Mitteleuropa häufig in Parks gepflanzter Laubbaum aus der Gattung der Rosskastanien (Aesculus). Es handelt sich dabei um eine Hybride zwischen der von der Balkanhalbinsel stammenden Gewöhnlichen Rosskastanie (Aesculus. hippocastanum) und der nordamerikanischen Roten Rosskastanie (Aesculus pavia).
Die Fleischrote Rosskastanie ist eine 1818 erstmals beobachtete fruchtbare Hybride; sie bildet keimfähige Samen.

Hi Siegfried.This is a good close up of the Beautiful pink flower. good detail and colours. I like the Tall crop you have given it looks right with this one. well done TFS.

Hello Siggi,
I found this capture of the red-flowered Horse Chestnut interesting, partly because the tree is introduced into many parts of Europe and partly because it it can be found in the wild state. The flowers are well taken, sharply and in fine lighting with a good contrast against the foliage.
I hope you will continue to post images on TN, especially those of subjects in the wild.
