La mouette rieuse est un élégant oiseau aquatique et les deux sexes sont identiques.
L'adulte en plumage nuptial a le dos et le dessus des ailes gris clair. Les primaires externes sont blanches avec les extrémités noires. Le bord d'attaque est d'un blanc pur, mais il devient noir vers les primaires les plus externes. Le dessous des primaires est sombre.
La mouette rieuse a un capuchon brun-chocolat qui s'étend jusqu'à l'arrière de la partie auriculaire, et des croissants blancs autour de l'oeil.
Les parties inférieures sont blanches, parfois teintées de rose sur la poitrine au printemps. La queue est blanche.
Le bec, les pattes et les doigts sont rouge-noirâtre. Les yeux sont foncés.
L'adulte en plumage d'hiver Mouette rieuse a des taches sombres nettes en arrière des yeux. Le capuchon sombre disparaît après la saison nuptiale. On peut voir deux barres noires indistinctes en travers de la calotte, l'une qui va d'un oeil à l'autre, et la seconde d'une oreille à l'autre. Le bec est rouge avec l'extrémité noire. Les pattes et les doigts sont rouges.
The black-headed gull is an elegant water bird and the two sexes are identical.
Adult in bridal plumage has the back and the top of the gray wings clearly. The external primary elections are white with the black ends. The edge of attack is a pure white, but it becomes black towards the most external primary educations. The lower part of the primary educations is dark.
The black-headed gull has a cap brown-chocolate which s' jusqu' extends; with l' back of the auricular part, and the white crescents around l' eye. The lower parts white, are sometimes tinted of pink on the chest in spring. The tail is white. The nozzle, the legs and the fingers are red-noirâtre. The eyes are dark. L' adult in plumage d' winter Black-headed gull has clear dark spots behind eyes. The dark cap disappears after the bridal season.
We can see two indistinct black bars across the cap, l' one which goes of an eye at other, and the second d' an ear with other.
The nozzle is red with black end. The legs and the fingers are red. |
