[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note

Large gray bird, majestic when it is upright at rest. It has long gray legs yellow grisâtre or, a long neck and a large yellow nozzle grisâtre in the shape of scraping-knife. The lower part, the head and the neck are blanchâtres with a black peak and dark stripes on the front of the neck and the chest. The remainder of the plumage is gray pigeon. In flight, sometimes high by slowly beating wings which then are well arched, the principal feathers of the wings are dark, almost black, the neck is folded up and the legs are longer than the tail. The young people will hérons have the face and the cap gray, the black nape of the neck grisâtre with a short feather nucale, the sides of the head and neck as well as the gray back. The center of their neck is beige. Ashy Héron They seek to be nourished close to all kinds of d' plans; water, and one sees some even sometimes in urban area. Their technique of fishing n' is not yet very at the point and they will undoubtedly make more for fear evil with fish.

Hi Christian,

nice inflight grey heron shot [if I am not mistaken].

I do not understand your note but still guess it's the nesting act out of filial care. Sorry didn't quite see the english part.

TFS,

Subhayan.

Christian,

Excellent capture. This is something you don't see too often. I like how you captured this 'builder'. Composition, wing pose, lighting and detail are all very nice. Great work and TFS.

Best Regards,

Martin
