Welcome to TN, Yann - nice first entry with this detailed macro in a good color setting, and a nice depth of field. I'm not an insect expert but I'm positive that some of the other members will be able to identify this species ;-)

As I already told you on TE, it's such a wonderful clear and sharp, attractive macro. Really well done!

Incroyables ces détails. Bravo ! Je trouve le cadrage et la PdC impeccables.

Interesting composition, good focus, maybe less DOF would have given a more powerfull picture, IMHO

Yann, it's a hoverfly and the ID is Volucella pellucens.

Nice picture, great detail and sharp crisp image.

Welcome on TN Yann. Very nice first post of this hoverfly (Volucella pellucens). I like the composition and dof is spot on. though I have to say it is a little dark which means loss of details. Apart from that it is a very nice picture.
