Really hope the weather picks up soon but I guess it's that time of year, I know my Mum says its been pretty awful in Jersey, anyway this is a beautiful shot of a Speckled Wood Butterfly, amazing colours and detail, and that splash of red from the flower just adds to the overall image, perfect POV, a lovely composition

Tes publications sont à l'opposée des miennes car pour l'instant les insectes me sont beaucoup trop difficiles à photographier et surtout à répertorier !!!
Je ne peux que reconnaître la qualité de cette macro par la finesse des détails et la délicatesse des couleurs.

I'm glad you had the chance to escape the English weather in France!! This is a lovely capture of the Speckled Wood, a butterfly fairly rare here in the south of Sweden. Fine details and colours and it stands out nicely against the soft background. Lovely red flowers too!

Hello Bev,
A very nice colourful capture of a Speckled Wood looking great on the spray of red flowers. The sharpness, the DOF and composition add to make this a top class shot and thanks for sharing it.
We are getting the torrential rains from the UK, but to a lesser degree. This often happens: we get the British low pressures from the SW but they usually get less extreme though some deepen and then we are in trouble!
