Hello , i show this photo not completly clear, sorry, about one new subspecie on TN, Euploéa Algéa Helcita, male form,,living only New Calédonia and Loyalty Islands situated north east Australia.Euploéa Algéa specie have got 35 subspecie in any area:Indochina ,India,Malaysia,Indonesia, Australia, etc Nymphalidaé/Danainaé Boisduval 1859
English name Long Branded Blue Crow
This photo taken at Ouvéa Island north East from Great Island at september, begining of the austral dry spring season
The geographic's isolation of New Calédonia Islands, 1500 km from Australia at West, Fidji at East and Papouasia at North, create right conditions for any endémics subspecies, plants and animals

Hi Daniel,
lovely shot of the butterfly. The soft and muted bqckground worked very well in showing the clarity and beauty of the brown butterfly.
Well taken with lovely perching position.
