Nice shot I like the out of focus in the middle going toward sharp focus at the head. But I agree with Carper's workshop. The tail does interfere a little. I like the use of the lighting.

La zone de netteté ce trouve juste sur la tête... C'est pas mal car je sais que ce n'est pas du tout évident! Bon départ sur TN!

Welcome on TN Philippe. Nice first post of this caterpillar. It is a little underexposed and the tail is pretty much out of focus. I know it is a hard one to do but with a f-stop on 8 and a shutter on 1/60 you could have had a much better dof and light.

Bonitos colores, muy buen encuadre y perspectiva, aunque debo coincidir con mojens-j que otra exposicion podria mejorar la captura.
Tambien me parecio valioso el trabajo de Carper.

Pretty colors, very good frame and perspective, although I must agree with mojens-j that another exposure could improve the capture.

Bonjour Philippe, and nice to see you on TN. A good catch of the caterpillar which makes a nice diagonal through the photo, with a good color setting and fine details. The focus gets a bit soft towards the bottom (but it's not too bad), and your use of light is good. Very interesting notes, too.

Very interesting cat you posted. Nice colours and details. The leaf is a nice contrast to the green cat. Pitty the tail dropped out of focus. Thanx for sharing.
