Hi J Louis, I'm afraid I don't know it but it is beautiful. Great capture too, love the colours and DOF. I'm wondering if it isn't a moth cos of the antennae - butterflies have clubbed antennae and this doesn't seem to. Lovely image, great composition and detail. TFS :)

Great shot of an Hesperidae!
This butterfly could be a Thymelicus lineola (Ochsenheimer, 1808) or a Thymelicus sylvestris (Poda, 1761), But, to be shure, it will necessary see the underside of the wings.

Striking colors for this one! This may be a moth rather than a butterfly, but I say that on a hunch only. The diagonal position of the insect helps to add drama and interest.
