[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
Tahitian Chestnut trees are very special. They do not look like chestnut trees at all. They grow in wetland. This chestnut forest is outside Papeete, the capital of French Polynesia. Picture scanned from a dia slide.

These trees are magnificent, they have trunks of surprising forms. Very beautiful composition but it misses contrast in the photo. It is maybe due to the scan of the slide? Thank you for the sharing.

Hi Monica,

A nice composition on these Chestnut trees. They look more like Cyprus trees. I like that filtered sunlight coming thru the trees. Nice Shot!

Such beautiful tall trees, I've never seen them before, they seem so grand. I like the greenish sunlight coming in through the greenery.
