La Diane vole de la mi mars à la fin avril.
Elle pond ses oeufs un à un sur les feuilles de sa plante hôte : Aristolochia rotunda, de début avril à mi mai.
La chenille se nourira des feuilles, des fleurs et des fruits de l'aristoloche, de la mi avril au début du mois de juin.

Lovely specimen, Laurent, expertly captured. Wonderful colors and patterns. And on top of that you "caught" it on the leaves of the Aristolochia.

Wow what amazing colours this has! You have captured this with excellent detail and the pov you have chosen shows the wings off at a nice angle as well as the arc of the body

Good photo in great sharpness and natural colours. The body is a bit dark. Beautiful markings in the wings. Excellent POV.

Une espèce qui ne vole pas chez nous, mais que j'aimerais bien voir un jour. Bonne composition et cadrage horizontal. Un peu sombre, peut-être.
