You have the makings of a good shot, but a couple of things I would suggest when taking macros. Looking at your settings I assume that there was not a lot of light present. When shooting macro of insect you need a fast shutter speed, for one reason is that butterflies constantly move. If you couple that with a slow shutter speed and the fact the macro lens is going to pick up the slightest movement you will end up with camera blur. Consider using a higher ISO speed to compensate and try to increase you shutter speed to 500 or better. Also to gain better depth and more detail throughout set you Aperture to a value better then F8, I would try starting at F11 or better. I like the Macro Lens you are using, it is very reliable. Hope this helps.

This is a very beautiful presentation, my friend. Very well framed and a really nice POV.
I know one thing, and that is do your own thing! You've got a great sense of beauty, and that's all that matters.
Cheers!

This is my kinda picture and its a daring dynamic composition ! I Love the directional space that you have managed to get here. There seems to be blue cast on the body of this butterfly
