The Camargue in France is very special.. It is a unique place, the delta of the Rhone, with a big variety of birds.. I know that the Avocet is also living in Holland, but i have never been able to see them here.. This one had 4 chicks, and it was a nice thing to see..!!!

Hi Olger,
This is a nice picture indeed! Very well exposed and the composition is also very nice. I would have liked to see a close-up of the bird. Did you zoom in at 400mm? Will you be posting pictures of the chicks or didn't you capture them? Well done & TFS!
