Nice close up Laurent. I don't really know what it is.. but well captured. Maybe a bit more of sharpness on the head would grant a better result. Beautiful colours.

Very nice shot Laurent!
Maybe DOF is a bit too shalow but the rest is perfect. I like the colours and light very much.
As for the ID I think it could be Spittlebug (Aphrophora), but I'm not sure about the species. I hope this will help.

Hi, I think it is an Gryllodes sigillatus, but I canīt find the name in english. Sorry. But this is an great photo.

It's a great macro shot, of this strange critter. Lovely colors and exposure. The DOF a tad shallow. I would like to have seen the ISO you took this at. If it was ISO100 or 200 you might have considered using a higher ISO to get that aperture setting smaller and the DOF a bit larger. Try to use the save as... option instead of save to web, it keeps the exif info intact. Very well done.

Nice Macro.
I have just got myself the EF-S 60MM Macro and hope to get shots this good.
I think it is the Spittlebug as thistle says. Its the one that makes (coocku spit) on plants.
