[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Hello, This photograph of the bee "eating" a rose flower can be rather alleviating: it is the case.

On the other hand its realization is a little more interessante because it was made by reversing lens 18-55mm on the camera

With this technique, everybody can have access to UltraMacro with one coefficient of enlarging approaching 10X. For information, this small fly makes less centimetre length.

DOF is very small (~1mm)

As usual, thank you by advance for your comments.

Such a perfection!
Wonderful details of the insect!
5* macro!

nice shot!sharpness is excelent, details are very good, the blurred leave on the left is a little disturbing imo, colours are very good, they are sunny :)
well done.

Good macro Yves, good sharpness!
Thanks for the "photographer's note", useful!

and TFS,

Ferran

Hi Yves, this is a great capture of the insect/ hoverfly on the rose. He is nice and sharp and BIG! I like the colours of this photo, so white and gold. Well shown, thank you.

Bravo excellent travail.

So beautiful!
The small DOF creates a great soft feeling.
Would be nice to have the other wing sharp as well - but eating the cake and keeping it too does not work.
TFS - Shir
