English name : Yellow Foot Chanterelle. Scientifique name : Cantharellus lutescens.

This good mushroom can be found from summer to winter.

Excellent for cooking, the Yellow Foot Chanterelle has a plum mirabelle smell, which makes it perfect to go with game dishes, but both these mushrooms can be served with the majority of meat and fish dishes due to their versatility and ability to be mixed with other mushrooms and vegetables.

Lo que más me asombra Christian, es la variedad de especies que has encontrado en la misma área... jamas pensé que existieran tantos y tan diversos en la misma región.
Otra excelente presentacion con hermosa composicion, por sus tonos, su encuadre y su agudeza.

Your photos of fungi always have a beautiful composition, with nice little plants and textures to look at! This one look very tasty and never tryed. Thanks for posting.

It's really a lovely exemplar Christian,
very good composition, great colours, and a good dof here, very good job.

You must have a very rich topsoil over there with the abundance of fungi. This is another well taken interesting specimen. TFS.

Now you've got me all hungry! This is a beautiful, well captured image, supported by a great note.

Thanks for posting

A lovely photograph and useful too! We have a similar mushroom here in Newfoundland which I think is C.tubaeformis but I had often wondered about C. lutescens as an alternative identification. Your picture is clearly of a different fungus - I'll post C. tubaeformis when I have a good photo.

hihi, tu vas faire toutes les especes des forets FR !
les couleurs de cette especes sont vraiment jolie ;)
merci pour cette photo de plus.

Nice one Christian, composition very good love the fringing round the edge, DOF looks a fraction short, but this is only a very minnor point.

Another cracking fungi shot Christian. Colours are great as usual and I love the textures.

This is sensational. What detail and colour! Your fungi shots are all so well taken.Good stuff!

Hi Christian,
Congratulations, it is a good photo.
Only a specification: you have recognized the mushroom but the correct name (for scientific mycology) is Cantharellus aurora (Batsch 1783) Kuyper 1990.
The name Cantharellus lutescens (Persoon 1801) Fries 1821 was abandoned because its original description is traceable to Cantharellus tubaeformis (Bulliard 1789) Fries 1821, a different specie. It was a historical wrong interpretation.
This was resolute by ICBN (International Code of Botanical nomenclature).
