This picture I also made in France dooing nothing along a small river.
I think it is the Calopteryx splendens, Banded demoiselle . The male.
Wingspan 6-7 cm and length 5 cm.
The lens of my camera is limirred for making macro's so I have to manify it. That is why it is a bit noisy.

Don't forget to see Walking on the water! and Swimming frog.

I am heading for the thousend points! Party is comming up.

Hij is weer mooi Hendrik,
Ik heb deze soort ook al diverse keren gefotografeerd, maar heb dat niet gedaan met zo mooie dof, uitstekende compositie, prachtige kleuren en een goede pov. erg goed werk Hendrik.
