Virginie, I'm amazed that this photo had no critiques until now. The caterpillar is a beauty! I could pick on the technical aspects of the photo but considering how difficult the conditions were under which you took the photo, I think you did a fine job. Caterpillars (and other creatures) don't always pose in just the right light or background. Some improvement might be gained by cropping the photo somewhat. Thanks for sharing this beautiful caterpillar!

Your colourful caterpillar is of the hawk-moth, Pseudosphinx tetrio (Sphingidae). It feeds on Allamanda, Plumieria and other Apocynaceae.
