[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This is my first photo here, and I admit that I am not so good at names of plants, animals or insects. All I know is that I like photographing them.
This grasshopper must have been a model before, because "she" was not a bit shy, on the contrary, she was almost posing for me.
I was the one who was cautious, afraid she could suddenly jump on me .

Hi Nadja,
I don't know the ID but this is a great photo. Your DOF could be improved by a higher F-stop. I know this but always forget it myself...LOL!

Thanks for sharing and welcome to TN!

Alli

Welcome to TN Nadja, it looks to be some type of cricket, I hope this of help in tracing what it is.
As has been said the DOF is a fraction short but not seriously so. the Burr-dock seed hidding the rear of the cricket is slightly distracting for me though, moving your POV (point of veiw ) slightly to the right would be better.
TFS and look forward to more from you, Yours Robert

You start with a nice macro, Nadja.
I agree with Robert about the POV but ´nice colours and good details.
Well done.

Välkomen till TN.

Welcome on TN Nadja.

Great first post with very good colours, good sharpness showing plenty of details in the cricket - sorry but that is all I can come up with about the ID. I think it is a "he" as the females of these grasshoppers very often has a huge egg tube (cannot remember the right word). I agree with Robert and Gert about the point of view.

Hi Nadja, I wish you a warm welcome to TN, and you have started off with an interesting subject! Quite an ugly insect, cricket or grasshopper. Well seen, it's a good job.

A very good first performance, Nadja.
Nice composition and point of view. It is the first time I see this insect so I cant help for the ID.

In the pleasure to admire your next posts and to read your notes and critics.
