September now. It's very quiet on the Seine river. Young grebes, still with their grey stripes on the head can dive to catch fish, while parents are not far. Young swans, with their shaggy grey feathers are more and more independent.
Ducklings start to look like their parents, male and females showing more evidently their differences. Parents can finally give themselves up to the joy of being together again for a moment of tenderness in the declining sunshine of September... until next spring.
------------------------------
An intimate moment stolen today, as usual, on the Seine river, in a sun patch between two menacing clouds.

Great clarity

Hi Jean Michel,
An excellent composition of a very tender moment. Very beautiful color in that light. The detail is very sharp. I like the slightly OOF wood posts or stumps in the backround.
Nice work!
Scott

Jean-Michel nous met en scène un beau couple qui semble se faire un gros bisou ;-) La qualité photographique est parfaite en tous points à mon avis. Compliments et merci.

Votre photo me rappelle celle-ci. On dirait les deux mêmes oiseaux dans une pose différente. Amusant, non?
Un beau moment bien capturé, Jean-Michel.
Merci.

Jean Michel, great title, great moment, great photo.

Excellent sharpness and pov. Catchlights in both eyes. Besides, vivid colors and lovely bg. You did great with exposure too, so that plenty of details on both birds can be appreciated.

In sum, a perfect shot.

Very nice capture, Jean! The sharpness, lighting and colors here are amazing! And the look on their eyes is very peaceful and calm! Very good notes to go with your excellent photo! rgds.

Tack sharp and a nice moment. Lovely light to bring out the colors. The low POV work but I find the wooden poles a tad distracting.

wonderfull;-)
