Hi Said
Nice Bird from OZ. Glad they escape and cope. They are beautifull. This bird, being black, should be underexposed up to 1 stop, to render the plumage black and not brown. If you use flash, and it seems so, dial in -0,7 to balance ambient light. This is something i am battling with too. Also, it needs a bit of "breathing" space on the right, difficult to add on due to the ripples in the water.

The origine of this magnificently seen bird from the southern continenet means this is a borderline image for TN, your note about them starting to finnaly breed in the wild (Mainly due to our warmer climate I feel)makes it OK. The image is superb all that detail if the feather is seen from the shaded area right through to the sunlight bits nice one

Welcome to TN, Saïd. A very nice first entry with this bird and its reflection on the water. You managed to handle the half-and-half light and shadow on the bird without losing details, the only idea from a compositional point of view would be to have a bit more space on the right rather than on the left. Anyway, a fine start and thanks for sharing!

Very beautiful picture of this black swan cleaning his feathers ! It's a nice 1st post. There are good details and nice colors, I love the contrast between the black feathers and the red beak. Well done !
