[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Partial eclipse of Sun of October 3, 2005. After the Venus passage in front of the Sun, here that it is possible for us to observe a new passage, that of the Moon in front of the Sun on October 3, 2005. The phenomenon in the form of annular sun eclipse , will be fully visible if one moves in Spain, or if one will make pleasure sailing on the Mediterranean one or the Atlantic. In France and mainly in the area Center, the phenomenon will be partial but quite observable according to the weather conditions. They were excellent this morning near Tours (37). The photograph that I present is taken in digiscopy (long sight Swarovski ATS 80 HD coupled with Coolpix 5000). The sheets of an acacia are in the zone of observation and give a particular look to the photograph. ISO 100.

Not only very interesting but also arty picture Didier. Great event very well captured.

Very nice post Didier and a newsworthy one as well. Here in Holland we had 60% coverage of the sun today (I didn't see a thing of it due to work) but I'm sure your artistic capture is much better than the images I will see tomorrow in the newspaper. Thanks for posting!
