[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
Not very easy to take a picture of this insect which is small , about 5 m/m. It is sitting on "growing" seeds of radish. To get more zoom for the macro, I added a magnifying glass maintained on the lens with my left hand.

Hermoso insecto, muy buena captura Midi.
Los colores son impactantes, aunque hay algo de distorsion en la imagen.
Buen intento.

Beautiful insect, very good capture Midi. The colors are impressive, although there is something of distorsion in the image.
Good attempt.

Beautiful Bug, it is a shield bug of some species I can't determine off hand. Composition and colour are nice but there is a little bit of over exposure on the bug and to the left of him. Also looks a bit over sharpened.

Well done.

If I read your note correctly, you held a magnifying glass in front of your lens to get this. I am amazed and have learnt something new. Thanks for sharing this technique and I am going to try it. Well taken

Intresting method of getting a larger image seems to work reasonable well. This is some sort of Shield Bug but not in my books.

Lots of initiative with mag lens. Very nice pic. Did you toggle with the contrast setting a bit? It seems out of range. Still a nice photo. Thanx for sharing.

Nice capture of this shield bug which I think is a Eurydema ornata. Check out this page, and it's even in French ;-))
There's some glare on the back of the bug which may be cloned out rather easily.

You are giving out secrets, awesome pic.
Overlooked secret, Magnifying lens, cool. Will be trying that out.

Mike
