Very nice macro. Because of the shallow DOF it almost lifts from the screen. Very nice.

You post a very good macro, with nice colours and good composition. The body and head is very sharp, I think you should have use F5 or F8 to get the legs sharp.
But it's a very nice picture.

Roger, Great Halloween post! I agree with Gert's words entirely, especially that the use of a higher f-stop would've brought the legs in better. Thanx for posting!

Good shot, Roger, hope you didn't have to get TO close! Some info on the spider and the shot would have been nice!

Nice close up... well captured, but clarity is somewhat lost on the front and hind legs of the spider.
Agree with Riaan on the notes part. Have to learn something through the photo. Would be nice if you cud put something up...

I don't like spiders, but I must say this shot is incredible and pretty in it's own special way. Great job!
