[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
I enjoy this picture because I think that this damselfly is laughing to the camera ! Isn't it ?
I also like the enormous like-spider legs against a little head.
It is a female of Calopteryx virgo meridionalis. I have already do a post (called "in the way of love") where it is matting a few moment ago.
For the technical aspect, I simply use a fill-in with the built-in flash.
Hope you like it.

Very nice portrait of the insect. Perfect focus, superb details of the head and blurred BG. Very nice light too.

Excellently focussed close up with enormous dramatization achieved by the bold angle. Perfect composition. Superb colours - the iridenscent body in the dark background is delicious.
I do not know whether the damselfly is laughing. But I do - with admiration.
Peter :)

Excellent composition, great lighting. good colour and details, a very fine work. I dont know how I missed your gallery, but TN is already quite big. I had a good time looking.
