[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note [French]
I shot this Mushroom at the Forest of Saint Germain en Laye

Hat : of a beautiful black strewn with white spots, which are the remainders of the original veil. Its shape out of bell is spread out with the age, then the edges are raised. Very fragile, it becomes quickly déliquescent.

Foot : white and slim, being able to reach up to 20 cm height It is fragile and breaks easily.

Blades : white, transfering with the pink then with the black into growing old, quickly déliquescentes.

Flesh : white, thin and fragile. It is liquified rather quickly and its odor is unpleasant.

Spores : ovals and smooth, black.

Black and white Coprin, thus named by analogy with the black and white plumage of the bird, meets in autumn in the underwoods furnished with died sheets, especially in the hêtraies. It is a beautiful solitary species, very appreciated photographers, much less of the mycophages. Although inoffensive, it is indeed without any gustatory value.

Great photo Chris! Very good sharpness and vivid colours. Beautiful fungi that looks like witch's house from fairy tales :-)

Nice capture, Chris. The texture and details shows nicely. BEautifull fungi captured too.

Excellent job Christophe! Your BG color mix contrasts very well & livens up the photo nicely. Great detail & the light looks just perfect. Very well done!

Merci

What a beautiful mushroom, and what an excellent photo.I've never seen this one before.Amazing!

Very nice photo Chris.
The details and texture are very good, nice colours and light.
Very well done.

This is one of the Inkcap family I have yet to see , you have captured it well, the oak leaves give a good scense of scale, some of the whites seem a little burnt out but not seriously enough to distract from the beauty of the image. there seems to be another intresting fungi in the BG.
thank you for sharing.

Superb capture Christophe. Nice colours and good notes.

what a hunt? wow! I think I will go trekking the forest ....good shot! TFS!

This beautiful and I really like the setting in which this was taken. The dead leaves form a beatiful BG that supports this image well.

Very well done and thanks fo rposting

Sharp, good colours, nice "floor-lamp", Christophe!

Lovely image Christophe, the colours are very good and the setting is very natural. I think you've handled this very well, especially for 1/4 s. Great note too.

Excellent POV and composition. The yellow leaf on th etop left of the hat is a bit distracting, but its a good shot with a fine note.

Jolie photo pour ce champignon. Mais je l'aurais décentré un peu...

Belle et intéressante composition macro-photographique bien réalisée pour ce champignon que je n'avais jamais vu... Jolies couleurs et bonne netteté.
Very Well Done !

The colours here are so vivid. This is really beautiful.

Your photo remindes me of a poem I learned in school (years ago) Under a toad stool, sat a wee mouse, out of the rain to shelter himself....
