Hi Gerard
What a beautyfull capture !
The colours are great, the two birds are with a very interesting position, it´s a pitty that you did not used small aperture to improve the DOF, But in thiese cases we don´t have much time to prepare the camera,
well done,
TFS
Taba

Hi Gerard
Very interesting POV you've captured here. These birds are enjoying what was placed on the table.
The composition is great and you have done well with the cropping. Colours are rich and something has caused a different blue hue to the photo. DOF could have improved with a smaller aperture (as Tabajara has mentioned), but since it seems like you had to deal with some very low light conditions the shutter speed would have gone too slow and bird movement might then have spoiled everything.
Good work and TFS.
Regards
Loot

Hi Gerard, I like the beautiful colors, and composition. Next time try an f/stop of f/4 or higher. It did not help that the shutter speed was 1/100. You can also use a flash in daytime to give you a faster shutter. I am not sure if the fuzzy quality is DOF or camera shake. But still a pretty photo. Keep shootin!!
