Pinus silvestris I presume? Any of about 90 species of ornamental and timber evergreen conifers of the genus Pinus (family Pinaceae), distributed throughout the world but native primarily to northern temperate regions.
Young trees are usually conical, with whorls of horizontal branches; older trees may have round, flat, or spreading crowns. Most species have thick, rough, furrowed bark. |

Hi Jan, I wish you had written some notes to tell me what tree this is. It is a lovely capture and the green of the cones is very eye catching. TFS, Janice

I aggree with Janice Jan. Otherwise good post
Hi Jan think I have a correct Ident for you to work with. It is very definatley a Cedrus, most probably C. atlanitica "Glauca" which is a blue needled variety of the Atlas cedar, which the original wild green form comes from the Atlas mountains in the north west of africa I think morrocco, so strictley speaking this is a garden colour selection.

This is a beautiful composition and I like the setting. The noise is a bit distracting, but the image is still pleasing.
Well done and thanks for posting
