Hi Christophe,
As you already know the head of the male is out of focus, so the shutter speed was a little slow.
I still think this is a beautiful image, the composition is excellent, with the male above the female. The timing is absolutely perfect, with the male's wings up and the female's down. Your panning technique is excellent, to get anything in focus with 1/160 is not easy. The background is perfect, the trees and greenery a perfect contrast to the Ducks, and colours are very natural. It's a beautiful picture, I'd be very happy if I took something like this (I've never managed to get a good in-flight shot of Ducks).
