Hallo Serge,
you achieved a nice picture of
PAPILIO PERANTHUS (Lepidoptera, Papilionidae)
It's no European native but occurs in Indonesia (Java, Lesser Sunda Islands and Sulawesi). I wonder that you found it in the Pyréneés. It must have escaped a butterly house or a private butterfly breeder. Thanks for posting.

It truely is a fascinating butterfly. Excelent colors, contrast and detail. Good lighting, too. I sure would like to see more of this species, no matter where the picture is taken. However, very interesting notification from Peter.

This is a really splendid shot of a beautiful and colorful butterfly! Could be a Papilio peranthus, I'm not sure. The composition and POV are great, colors are brilliant and warm and the details are sharp! The BG is very nicely defocused and really makes the subject stand out perfectly! Congratulations and TFS!
