Blue Tit in Lavender,
This young blue tit has visited me in my apartment, but could not find the way out anymore. It finally desperately clung to a bouquet of lavender flower in a vase ; I could move the vase with the bird, as if it belonged to the decoration, to the next window where it escaped. That explains how I came to shoot a bird with a macro-lens.

Interesting story behind the "capture". I suppose the shot would need a bit of explaining with the 50mm. :)
Anyway, the bird has nice color, excellent sharp detail, and DOF. Well composed close-up, and the black BG works great.
