what a lucky discovery you have captured in a very well describing way! Have seen many grown up swallowtails over the years, but very rarely only I had the chance of seeing one of these most impressive large caterpillars - it must have been many years ago. Perfectly well describing interesting notes, too. You have a very intense and exciting approach to our natural environment. Very lucky! Thank you for sharing.

Very beautiful caterpillar of an equaly beautiful butterfly.
Splendid colors, very nice POV, good sharp details and exposure. Maybe the vegetation in the FG is a bit distracting, but still a very nice capture.

I had taken some shots on the Monarch caterpillar but not as colourful and nice pattern like this Swallowtail caterpillar!
