No, it's not in an aquarium, no,I am not under water: I was on the quay in our port. Photo taken from the top, this medusa (10cm diameter)was moving slowly at 10 cm from the surface. The white points are not some "noise" but particules in suspension.
PP=> colors adjustment.
This morning I took about 50 shots from these medusas, all beautiful and my choice was difficult.

The white particles make this beautiful alien-looking creature appear to be traveling through space! Isn't amazing how jellyfish are about 95% water (if I recall) yet they have such a presence?! -Jenn

Fascinating and very striking image. Love the dark background, and the vibrant colour of the jellyfish.

Superbe photo, belle nettete et couleur, malheureusement, ca me rappele de mauvais souvenir de vacances en Gironde, Very great shot Jean Louis
Amicalement Christophe

Interesting capture, it looks like something out of Star Wars ;-))
Good sharpness and colours, nice "catch".

Absolutely brilliant capture. At first glance it reminded me of something you would see from the Hubble space telescope. Well done.

A really fantastic picture !! But I am puzzled. I noted your description of how you did it. But I cant understand how did you get this bright warm light on the animal. Was it taken during sunset ? Where does the light come from ?

Very unique "Catch of the Day" ;-) Like the framing, details & the colors are great. Great job!

Superbe photo, c'est quelle planete?
Tres bonne composition.

Now this shot has impact! The colors against the black BG are stunning. The little white spots in the water adds to this powerfull image. Great sharpness as well.

Very well done and thanks for posting
