Cet insecte est très beau en lui-même, mais j'aime surtout la composition avec ces petites brindilles qui suivent un peu les bandes noires du corps de l'insecte et qui donnent l'impression qu'il va jaillir de la photo.

Yes, very common, very beautifull and very polite models :-) I like composition with bug and surrounding it parts of plant. Very nice, pastel colours of BG and interesting note. Beautifull or not, these bugs are pests, unfortunatelly :-) Great post my friend!

Hi Valerie,
Excellent composition, the lines of the plant stems fanning out are great. Very good detail on the bug and good strong colours. I think there is a reddish cast to this but I think that works really well, it adds a warm summery evening feel to the shot. The shallow DOF also works adds to that feel as well as softening what could have been a quite harsh background. Excellent work, a really nice shot of this stinky little fellow :-)

It's my old friend. And I should tell, that from travel from Ukraine to France it has not changed at all. Also it is good itself and it is perfectly looked on a remarkable and expressive plant.

Le pentatome rayé est toujours un sujet sympa, et en plus il n'est pas craintif. J'aime beaucoup la composition en plongée avec les tiges qui partent en rayons depuis l'angle inférieur droit. Très bien fait !
