Akkerparelmoervlinder(Boloria dia):

Beschrijving:
De akkerparelmoervlinder komt in het noordelijk deel van zijn verspreidingsgebied voor op warme hellingen met open bos, struweel en bloemrijke graslanden. Verder naar het zuiden wordt hij ook op vochtige en beschaduwde plekken aangetroffen. De eitjes worden één voor één afgezet aan verschillende soorten viooltjes. De rupsen overwinteren halfvolgroeid in de strooisellaag. De verpopping vindt onderin de vegetatie plaats. De akkerparelmoervlinder brengt twee tot drie generaties per jaar voort.

Leefgebied:
Droog kalkgrasland en steppe
Matig voedselrijk grasland

Sterk gelijkende soorten:
Boloria titania

Verspreiding:
Komt voor in Centraal-Europa. Ontbreekt in Ierland, Groot-Brittannië, Scandinavië, Nederland, Iberisch schiereiland behalve de noordelijke provincies en Cantabrisch gebergte, op de mediterrane eilanden behalve Sicilië, Z-Italië en grote delen van Griekenland. Vliegt van 500 tot 1600m.

Vliegtijd:
april, mei, juni, juli, augustus, september, oktober.

Status Europa:
Soort is thans niet bedreigd in Europa.

Status Benelux:
In Nederland zwerver, in Wallonië kwetsbaar. Dichtstbijgelegen populaties in Zuid-België, Frankrijk en Duitsland.
