Great looking specie. Good detailed photo.
In my country is regarded as edible. I don't recall anybody to have adverse reactions after eating this. On the other hand, caution is a rule for a mushroom picker.

I have never found this one in such a imaculate shape, always dirty and old. Thise ones look just fantastic.

This is an excellent shot Christian! I like these shroons alot they definitely have character. It's like an elephant version of the wooly mammoth but you can call them 'Wooley Mammoth Mushrooms' with all that hair. :)
