Perhaps a bit early for a love story. Seems more a kind of arrangement to share the food put here in winter... flying and flirting, perhaps later...
I've installed nesting boxes today, with different diameter holes according the species.
Blue Tits: 28mm, Great Tits 32mm. Other garden birds are actually investing different places.
A couple of blackbirds, very greedy for ivy berries are investing a large ivy tree. Sparrows are slipping under the roof.
Warmer days will bring different ones and new shooting opportunities.
You'll find some notes about the Blue Tit of this shot here
Shot taken under bright sunshine in the back, with a lot of patience to get these poses in one shot.
Speed priority, spot metering and focus on right bird.
PP: cropping, autolevels, reduced chromatic aberration (red and magenta), USM not necessary due to sunshine enhancing a natural sharpness. NeatImage to soften BG.

Good picture Jean Michel, the title and note are very amusing. A pair in one frame is nice to see. I like it.

Pas mal, malheureusement la mésange en 1er plan est une peu surexposée et celle en arrière plan hors focus.
Très intéressante note.
TFS.

I like the shot Jean Paul,
Very good capture here, the point of view is great, even as the colours and the pof an the great dof, very good job, I like it a lot

Merci!

Great shot Jean,
Splendid detail with great colours.
Excellent POV.
Thanks for posting.

I think you have convinced me with your shots to buy the sony teleconverter for my cam. The quality is more than acceptable. Nice composition in this one. Thanks Jean Michel.

Hi Jean Michel, sorry, my dimes are long spent by now, I searched your intro for new posts in vain earlier.
This is a cute photograph, and some of your nicest - is thee such an English word? LCJ's - Little colourful Jobs.
Nice POV and details, and great title, - lets fly off to Peru, in Lama land there's a one man band, and he'll toot his flute for you. Old Blue Eyes sang something like this, and this are Old Blue Tit asking a similar question.

Very high cute-level here Jean Michel. Colours, sharpness and cropping/composition are all spot on - pity that the bird in the back is out of dof range. Well, you cann't have it all and the picture is lovely indeed.

Jolie présentation, Jean-Michel.
Je trouve bien que vous instaliez des cabanes pour les oiseaux (on les appelle communément: cabanes à oiseaux)
Vivement le printemps!
Un travail soigné.
Merci
