this is very nice picture of this beauty. This owl is more day active than most of the owls up here.
It's not easy to capture but you did well with your macro-lens. Well composed, good POV and nice colours.

Thank you for share this very nice composition of a short eared owl with us. I like the natural background with the light beam on the leaves just behind him. As will most owls the eyes look to be looking straight through you. Lovely capture hopefully when I get my chance at one I could do so well. Thanks Again Rick.

Una bella captura Jean Michel con impactante mirada muy bien retratada.
Me agrada el punto de vista y el colorido suave de la imagen.
El foco es buena al igual que la agudeza, aunque parece algo soft, quizás por la baja velocidad del disparo.
Buen encuadre y presentación general.

Beautiful capture Jean Michel with impacting glance very well depicted.
I like the point of view and the soft colors of the image.
The focus is good the same as the sharpness, although it seems something soft, maybe for the low speed of the shot.

Jean, a lovely capture - well framed with the bird looking at you. I think the colours are a little dull due to the lighting and as has been commented it is slightly out of focus. I have tried to imrpove on that in the workshop attached. Best wishes Phil. C
