A happy 2007 to you as well.
This is really a wonderful photo with stunning colors and a beautiful composition. I really love the different colors in the sky and the fact that I can even see some texture on the top of the mountain. It is a real pitty that there is no snow yet. Lets hope this will change soon.

Fantastic spectacle my friend. Very calm, quiet and relaxing picture. And superb colours. Silhouette of Tournette looks slightly mysterious. I like it very much!

Beautiful warm graduations of sunset color Christian. I like the frame with mountains in silhouette, combined with the thin dark bands of cloud..
I would say the camera is secondary. The artists eye is of paramount importance :)

Hi Christian

What a marvellous capture with your 'super' new Finepix, but it did not hide the fact that it was a master who pressed the button.

You are one of so many people to complain about the total absence or the lack of sufficient snow this year. The weather is weird all around our lovely planet, but fortunately you could get this beautiful shot which other wise apparently would not have been possible.

The colours are absolutely wonderful. The combination of f/stop, shutter speed, and tripod turned this into a magnificent sunset. The composition was well perceived and presented with the specific mountain profile carefully selected and placed within the frame. The details are splendid and the exposure is perfect.

A dream capture Christian with this wonderful twilight.

I like it a lot: composition, POV, colors, backlighting, DOF, focus, sharpness, background, framing, notes.

I don't like it: nothing to grumble.

Another wonderful photo from you and your rather new camera :)
The composition you managed here is wonderful and the colors are amazing!
Great usage of nature's reserves - the support on the wood - which allowed you in a very clear photo at 1/15. Also the silhouettes on those peaks are lovely and the sharpe of the small clouds great!
