Hello Jacob,
The name "Pearl Lizard" seems perfect for this beautiful lizard you've captured really well here. Very sharp details of pattern and scales and nice focus on the eye. WOnderful colours too. The only blemish is the blurr in the foreground which could be cloned away.

Amazing sharpness here Jacob,
Well done getting the light settings right showing us all the glory of this chaps scales. Not sure about cropping his tail off there, perhaps better to go the other way and crop tighter.

Hi Jacob,
Excellent image of this reptile!
You got amazing sharp and clear details on the animal.
I like so much the light reflections, specially on the head and eye's glare.
Perhaps a little more DOF were useful to get in focus the animal rear leg.

Hello Jacob!
Very nice picture of interesting species. I was in Tamaris (region Cote de Azur) about 2 weeks but the only reptile species I saw were gekkos :)
The colours of this specimen are really nice (mating colours?) and general composition is also very good. The only thing I would like to suggest it to light picture a little :)
Anyway, very nice presentation with interesting note.

Hello Jacob,
It must be marvellous to be able to photograph a full-grown Oscellated Lizard and capturing a juvenile like this one is pretty good too. This shot has nice lighting and colour and is pretty sharp too. I guess the tail must be 1.5 times the body length.

This is surely one of the most beautiful lizards of Europe :)
Look at all those colors and tones forming its splendid pattern! WOW!
You are a very lucky guy to have travelled to all sort of places and habitats and to hae seens all these wonderful species in the wild and with your own eyes....i envy you...a bit :)
This is a great shot, with a spot-on exposure and super sharp details. In my oppinion the DOF is just great how it is...it blurres the FG and BG very well, isolating the lizard well.
