Wow, Annick.
A gorgeous portrait of this Nene goose, the state goose of the Hawaiian Islands.
They are so beautiful, and quite endangered.
We have seen them in some pockets of Hawaii, but they are not seen that often.
I really like the slight turn of his head, and the wonderful eye contact.
And yes, the monochromatic palette makes for a lovely visual impact.

I look at your picture Couleur Café while I'm drinking my first coffee of the morning, isn't appropriated? :) This is an excellent portrait of a bird that I didn't know.
