Grey Heron / Ardea cinerea/

L 90-105 cm

Feature
The aves about slender figure from long bent neck. Grey feathers with top and whitish from bottom. Black cres with back of head hangs, meanwhile the line of black spots with front of neck has. Young heron has not on head and neck expressive drawing. Esowato in flight differs from stork or crane bent neck and archwise bent wings.

Occurrence
The banks of rivers and island in current of, lake, the animal ponds.The different genus the water reservoirs the, river valleys, of swamp. The colonies are located on islands or in old stands in vicinity of waters often.

Food
Alive oneself fish, amphibians, small mammals as well as water invertebrates, on which it is on the lookout at bank of waters patiently.

Reproduction
Hatch 3-5 blue eggs. Sitting 25-26 days. Young they leave nest after about 50 days The protected species partly with except of grounds of animal ponds.

Hi Roma.This is a fine pose of the Grey heron. With its bill wide open. You have taken it with good detail and natural colours. I like the POV with the blue sea in the BG. All with good notes Well done TFS.
