[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
This Rhagium inquisitor of the beetle family Cerambycidae presents itself like on a catwalk.
The species is widespread in Europe and extends into the Asiatic realm and North Africa. The specimen shown was found in the upper regions of the Harz (mountains) where there are huge stands of coniferous forest. Rhagium inquisitor is a polyphagous species which however prefers conifers.

The body length of the specimen shown is about 20 mm.

An Olympus Digital Extension Tube EX-25 was used in addition to the lens.

der ist ja zuckersüß, brrrrr, was für eine Kreatur - aber Du kannst Dich freuen so was gesehen zu haben, sehr interessant, gefällt mir.
Wenn man dann auch immer noch in Erfahrung bringt was man da ablichten konnte, Du weißt es ja, mir geht es da öfter anders und ich muß hier um Hilfe bitten. Was für ein tolles Forum.
