Hi Peter,
Beautiful macro. Shallowness DOF works very well; at the limit though.
Well composed partially through the above mentioned DOF but also through the yellowish colouration.

super scharfe Aufnahme ganz toll hast du die kleinsten Details ins Licht gerueckt.
Auch die Perspektive ist prima um den kleine Kerl so richtig unter die Lupe zu nehmen.

Guten Abend, Peter.
Sehr gut gewählter tiefer Blickpunkt für eine dynamische Begegnung und Bildkomposition. Sieht aus, als würde er kräftig ausschreiten, der hübsche kleine Bockkäfer. Da bewundere ich besonders die relative lange Belichtungszeit und den Verzicht auf Blitzlichtgewitter. Die feinen natürlichen Farben und die Tiefenwirkung der weich gezeichneten hinteren Partien sind das erfreuliche Ergebnis.

Hello Peter,
Very fine capture of this Longhorn beetle from a low angle. I like the natural light, the sharpness and the colours. The soft background colour enhances the capture greatly as well. Excellent composition.

Another splendid macro work from you!
This is something we don't see everyday and it sure makes a lovey shot!
I like the usage pf the shallow DOF here that made sure all the attention is concentrated on the little insect.
Considerring the conditions, i must congratulate you on such a sharp shot! 1/30 hand held on such a close-up is indeed praise worthy!
