Hello Sabine.

Lovely shot where you can see several seasons in. I like specially the leave coming out of the snow. When this is your first shot with your new camera than it has many spectations for the future.
Well done and have lots of fun and a lot of beautiful pictures with your new camera.

This is a lovely capture with your new camera of which I've seen very good reports. The colours of the three seasons are certainly very nicely epresented here. I love the warm light, the cold snow and the glow of the autumn leaf! Excellent sharpness and lovely colours. Very well done!

Hallo Sabine,

You are right the photo might raise this question. All the elements of the image snow, grass and leav are well shown with good sharpness and fine details. The warm light makes very fine colors on the dead leave in contrast with the cold snow.

I do like looking at snowy images Sabine, and this is snow... It is interesting to see how the snow is beginning to melt.

You present three seasons well in this shot. The composition is great: I like the way the curled autumn leaf is surrounded by the frosty snow with blades of grass peeping out round the outside. The quality of this image with you new Canon is great, especially the sharpness and lighting!

Du hast also einen neuen Fotoapparat..und scheinst ihn schon sehr gut im Griff zu haben! Das Licht hast Du sehr schön eingefangen, das dürre Blatt fast 3dimensional dargestellt. Ein winterliches Bild, einfach und zum Philosphieren einladend.

congrats for the new sx10 cam, i liked the image and title you have selected for it, the colors look great and the image is sharp with good details,
hope to see many more good captured with your new camera but dont stop using the tammy 90 cause you use it with perfection and i am a big fan of your macro work,

Ah, ah, ah Sabine! I like this title a lot and it is so representative of our upside down world! Here, it is - 3 degrees Celsius today and tomorrow will be - 27 plus chill factor! There are such great temperature variations actually that the municipal water infrastructures in Montreal are breaking causing many floods in the city…

This is an excellent macro, very sharp with perfect exposure. I can almost count the snowflakes :) Well seen! TFS,
