sehr detailreiches Portrait dieser Keiljungfer. Ein exzellentes Makro in perfekter Schärfe. Danke für dieses sehr schöne Sommerfoto. Bei uns ist leichtes Frost perfekt zu spazieren und vielleicht paar Vogel "schießen"

Guten Morgen Sabine,
da hast du dir ja fast das gleiche Motiv wie auf meinem letzten Bild ausgesucht!
Das großäugige Gesicht, den massiven Körper und die 'unrasierten' Beine der Libelle hast du scharf
in Szene gesetzt. Lustig wirkt der kleine Schopf über dem Auge.

Another very close macro from you! I see this time it was actually contact-close :)
That also happened to me before, when i was using my S2 compact camera, and it definitely felt weird...you don't really realize the distance with the subject only by looking into the viewfinder :)
The details here are impeccable and this side POV shows us the great contrasts and texture on its thorax and side of the head.
The DOF is well selected and the flash amount is also good.
However, using flash you need to modify the white balance. Most Gomphus species have a slight blue-ish tint in their eyes and with this warm WB here, you've lost that. I've added a workshop to try to correct that...hope you don't mind.

Es ist sehr selten das man so nahe an dei libellen heran kommt um so ein gutes Macro zu machen können.
die Details an seinen körper, Beine und Kopf sind einfach verblüffend. Die Farben sind wunderschön und mir gefällt auch die Pflanze auf der sie sitzt

Liebe Sabine,
Farblich sehr schönes Bild und wie detailreich! Gomphus pulchellus gibt es auch in unserer Umgebung, meistens im Gras versteckt. Hier hat sich die Libelle eine photogene Pflanze ausgesucht, die dem Bild noch einen originellen Touch gibt.

Hi Sabine,

With 90mm macro, I guess you must be pretty close. With my 60mmFL, it is even closer and possibilities of nudging the wings are there. Beautiful shot with such close crop and fine details. Perfect depth and exposure to show us this beauty in TN.
