What I like here the most are colors (nice vivid yellow and blue) and POV (very nice with good view on body and head with fantastic eyes. Sharpness and buckground is perfect

You have been very lucky. I have been trying today but as you said they never seem to sit and when they do it is on a very high tree.
This is a great macro with great details and beautiful colours. Very nice pov and comp and with great sharpenss.

Hello Sabine,
Another fine close up of a dragon. We call Aeshna species 'mosaic dragonflies' and in this sharp shot the mosaic pattern of colours shows up very well. A cyanea is quite common with us but difficult to capture without a busy BG.

j'ai un peu la même photo prete a publier mais moi je l'ai obtenu avec mon 70-300 puis recoupée,il faut dire que la libellule ne m'a pas laissé le temps de changer d'objectif.
c'est evidemment tres joli et bien realisé.
