This is really beautiful and pin sharp. The details are very clear as we can all definitely see the pollen on this hover fly. The soft white flower enveloping the subject does give it the fairyland touch. Nicely done and TFS.

This is a remarkable macro! Not only have you captured Episyrphus balteatus from a fine POV with excellent sharpness but you have shown the small round grains of white pollen so clearly that they look like tiny golf balls on its back!
The use of flash and lightmanagement is also superb
An excellent image that is a joy to view and thanks for sharing it.
