How did you even notice this Comma - the cammouflage is so perfect?
A wonderful macro showing the butterfly in excellent detail. Colors are beautiful. I love the background which picks up the green in the wings. The composition is superb.

A very fine close-up of a Comma showing the 'Comma' marking on the underwing very clearly. I like the way the green markings are showing too and they match the background so well! A fine composition in beautiful colours.

Super the way in which you tell the story in your own words...and as to the image..it looks just good with flash going off. I have said many times that working close in with a flash has never been somethign I do well...obviously you and others do though!

Liebe Sabine,
Wenn man diesen C-Falter mit Blitz beleuchtet, sieht er wirklich ganz anders aus. Man entdeckt grüne Motive, die man eigentlich sonst nicht wahrnimmt.Auch das vertikale Format passt hier besonders gut. Es ist ein interessanter Falter, schon von seiner Form her. Es ist mir schon passiert, dass ein C-Falter mir auf die Nase geflogen ist und dort ziemlich lange ausharrte.. hat ziemlich gekitzelt!
